�2017, our best vintage in 7 since 1947. � Ah, the years in 7! It seems that you have to go back to 1947 to have a very good year. As with the fruit trees, the vine, spared of the frosts of April 27th and 28th, was abundant and beautiful, presenting itself at the beginning of September with very beautiful, perfectly homogeneous fruit. Harvest: From September 14 to October 5, 2017 Blend: 46% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot. Best in 10-20 years

Siran is a little gem in Margaux and the wines are beautiful. Château Siran has 25 hectares under vine with an average age of 30 years. The soil type is alluvial sandy gravel and the blend generally comprises 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. After fermentation in stainless steel vats, the wine spends 12-14 months in barriques; about 60-70% are new each year.
