Don Cristobal produce a multi award winning range of premium quality varietal wines from their own vineyards. Four quality levels and styles of wines, from Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Torrontes and the stunning, unique Verdelho for Argentina.

The Lapania family had very clear objectives when establishing their modern winery in the 1990’s, first and foremost it was the development of first class Vineyards, spread through four estates:

Finca el Remanso	21 hectares	950 metres	Lujan de Cuyo. Mendoza
Finca la Nina	17 hectares	650 metres	Junin, Mendoza
Finca la Pinta	39 hectares	650 metres	Rivadavia, Mendoza

There is a permanent re-planting of vines, an ongoing process, throughout all the estates creating the ideal average age of the vines, which is 25 years. As with all our Agencies, the common thread has been this focus on the vineyards, health of vines and quality of fruit.

In the last 5 years Eduardo, his family and the Cristobal team have overseen the completion of the new, State of the Art Winemaking facility at Ugarteche. Including two bottling lines and able to produce high quality, Estate Grown and Bottled, 18.75cl, single serve bottles.

This is a super-professional operation, but never losing sight of the uniqueness of the property.
