At Puro Mediterraneo, we love genuine food. We are passionate about authentic tastes and meals prepared according to traditional methods. We see eating with our friends and family as a moment for dialogue and creativity, one that is to be cherished.

Our story starts with a journey. We love exploring and experiencing diverse cultures. This gave us the opportunity to taste foods different from those we have always been used to. We have travelled most of the world and, during this time, have been lucky enough to enjoy meals in both the very best restaurants, and in the company of local people in some of the poorest places on the planet.

After so much time away from home, we began to crave what we had always taken for granted, a dish prepared with love and genuine ingredients, in the company of our friends and relatives.

We always thought that a fresh and carefully prepared meal was typical. However, having travelled the world and experienced a number of different cultures, we realised that in many places this does not happen and therefore how lucky we are. For this reason, we felt the need to bring our food heritage abroad to prove that the best food is the simplest and most natural.
