Our Alpaca DDH IPA is every bit as premium and luxurious as the animal fibre. Expect strong tropical hop aromas on the nose. Initial flavours of guava and melon are followed by the appearance of honey from the malt. Crisp and punchy, the tropical fruits are well balanced with a dry, bitter finish.
A hazy pale ale with tropical aromas and balanced bitterness.
A golden, juicy and hazy NEIPA, aggressively hopped & intensely fruity.
Jute as a textile is one of the most accessible and versatile fabrics in the world. Over the years it has been used for fishing, manufacturing, household items and even clothing. Similarly, the goal of our session was to brew an accessible beer suitable for all occasions.
Our take on a session strength (junior) New England IPA, a junior juice bomb!
A crisp and juicy pale ale with aromas of lemon and lime zest.
Full-bodied with bags of tropical character. Expect guava, mango, passion fruit and lychee. These fruit flavours make way for mellow notes of honey with a smooth but bold finish.

A Vermont-style session IPA showcasing the Galaxy Hop.
A double NEIPA. Hazy, juicy and packed full of tropical and stonefruit aromas.
We dipped into our bag of tricks to bring you a juicy NEIPA, smooth-bodied and low in bitterness. Not shy with the dry-hop of Vic Secret, Enigma & Motueka, expect aromas of passionfruit, lime pineapple & melon!
Leading aromas of resinous citrus & berry fruit complemented by robust, undertones of chocolate and liquorice. Hop aromas are backed up by lightly roasted malt character and balanced bitterness.
The deep citrus and piney resinous of West Coast IPAs meeting the sweet crush-ability of Vienna lagers. This beer uses 95% Vienna malt in the grist, which gives you the beautiful amber hue and sweet refreshing body.
Starward Whisky, a Melbourne based distillery, matures whisky made from Australian barley and craft brewer’s yeast in Australian red wine barrels. The Barrels are used to age this beer and impart their signature fruity flavours of red berries, orchard fruits, vanilla, caramel and soft oak spice.
A huge aroma of blueberry and chocolate opens the beer, followed with a full-bodied hit of blueberry acidity, chocolate smoothness and a long, fruity finish.
This beast of a yeast gives aromas of fresh pineapple, mango and tangerine. The dry-hop of citra, Idaho 7 & galaxy packs in bold flavours of stonefruit, pine and grass with savoury notes.
With Supersonic we aimed to test the limits of what a session IPA can be, focusing on maximising body and hop aroma. We set out creating a beer that punches above its weight, utilising new & innovative hop products and methods. The result is a big-bodied ale, packed full of mango, papaya, citrus and peach aromas...all at a sessionable 4.4%
Nuclear Fog is an all encompassing power house of an IPA! The aroma being a powerful dank tropical forest of ripe mangos and papaya. From the initial taste of sweet over ripened peach leading into a complex blend of citrus rind, passion fruit and a delicate bitterness. This full bodied TIPA embeds its bold flavours, leaving an aftertaste that pairs wonderfully with the warming quality of this mighty beer.
When doing a collab with our friends Lervig we knew we wanted to do something extra. Peanut butter and marshmallows fused together makes fluffernutter, a nutty vanilla like comfort.

Introduction

Founded in 2018, the vision for SALT was 3 years in the planning. We aimed to create a modern, accessible brand, embedded in the local community of the UNESCO World Heritage Village of Saltaire. We strive to produce exceptional hop-forward beer and couple this with a valuable brand experience.

Purpose

Our purpose is to create pleasure through beer – This is why we exist. Craft beer is our means to impact people above beyond their taste buds.

As a small team of people who are dedicated to our craft, we share the same vision – ‘To be renowned for exceptional beer, unique experiences and being a positive force amongst our community’

Heritage

Our homeland, the UNESCO village of Saltaire and the accompanying mill were built by a superprogressive pioneer of worker’s rights in the 1800s. We are mightily proud of our heritage, We adopt the same progressive spirit through our modern brewing styles. Telling the story of our local history and heritage is core to our journey. The inspiration of our forefathers can be seen in our name, throughout our brewery, and the textiles used to name our beers.

Our homeland is our inspiration, we want to tell this story through progressive beer. We hope our legacy extends beyond brewing, adding to the rich history that surrounds us everyday.
