The World’s Best Pils. A very elegant nose of roses, violets and lavender, with a touch of white pepper. The beer will make you both hungry and thirsty. Freddie Schönram is eighth generation to inherit the entire Schönram village with its brewery, Private Landbrauerei Schönramer.
The aroma is dominated by scents of fresh farmer's bread. In the first drink you can taste bread, then chocolate, followed by liquorice and a pinch of vanilla in the final drink. Very full bodied.
Our gold medal winner in the European-Style Export 2017 category of the European Beer Star Award has a rich golden yellow color with a clear note of chestnut honey in the aroma. The initial taste is very full-bodied with the taste of freshly baked white bread and then turns into a honey-sweetness, followed by a very fine hops-bitter note in the aftertaste. The Schönramer Gold has the perfect harmony between hops and malt and is naturally cloudy in the barrel.

In 1780 the farmer Franz Jacob Köllerer acquired the property of the private country brewery Schönram. The brewery has been in the eighth generation of the family for more than 235 years. As in the past, the brewery is still the center of the idyllic place "Schönram".

You notice and feel immediately that Bavarian tradition is being cultivated and preserved. How closely the history of the place is connected to the brewery can be seen in the church, which was built in 1852 and 1853 especially for the brewery's employees.

A modern brewery with a high level of quality awareness arises from the strong roots of the past.
Not only the absolute compliance with the Bavarian purity law of Willhelm IV from the year 1516 is a daily incentive, but also the clear commitment to quality in order to preserve the unmistakable “Schönram” taste.

Values that were created in the past and are still valid today.

The result: beer enjoyment since 1780!
