André Roméro is one of our most characterful and talented growers and a favourite. A love of wine, food and Marseille Football Club, shared with the leading restaurants in the region underline the character he is.
The yields here are low - around 40 hl/ha for his Côtes du Rhône, 35 for the Villages and much less for his super cuvées (28 hl/ha in the 2005 vintage).

This is a sweet, silky dessert wine with fresh balancing acidity therefore not cloying at all. It works very well with heavier desserts, especially with dark chocolate.

90% Grenache, 10% Syrah
